Leather Wine Journal - Professional Grade Log Book This instant

"This truly is professional grade. I've collected wine labels for about 8 years now and have many journals. This one is lovely - library quality, not a lot of wasted space - one page per wine and label. Poignant quotes at the bottom of each page, nice dictionary in the back. Ultimate Wine Tasting Kit Immediately

I purchased this as a gift and included some wine. It made a nice compliment to the wine, although I'm somewhat reluctant to say it would hold up on its own.Get more detail about Ultimate Wine Tasting Kit.

Winemaking: Recipes, Equipment, and Techniques for Making Wine at Home Best Quality

This is absolutely a great book for the novice winemaker. Not only does it give dozens and dozens of recipes that can be done at home, it gives history, theory, technique, a glossary - even trouble shooting. It's very well organized. I bought the book for myelf 3 or 4 years ago and was so happy with it that this year I bought 3 of them to give to my siblings. Now they can make their own wine (and stop giving their grapes to me)!Get more detail about Winemaking: Recipes, Equipment, and Techniques for Making Wine at Home.

Barley Wine: History, Brewing Techniques, Recipes (Classic Beer Style Series, 11) Buy Now

One thing to keep in mind when ordering this book, it is not geared toward the homebrewer that is just starting out. Most of the recipes are for full mash brewing which someday soon I hope to be doing but for now the lack of extract recipes in the book make this an educational, more than a practical read for me. Otherwise it is well written and gave me great insight into a beer style i really enjoy.Get more detail about Barley Wine: History, Brewing Techniques, Recipes (Classic Beer Style Series, 11).

Complete Home Bartender's Guide: 780 Recipes for the Perfect Drink Order Now

I LOVE that this book is spiral-bound. That is the best feature. It contains a wealth of information and the comments that he makes about the drinks are quite entertaining as well. The drink recipes range from basic ones that require a few simple ingredients to "gourmet" that require more than most people would have or want to buy. But with a little creativity, most can be suited to taste and budget. The title says it all---it is complete and it's a great, fun read, even if you're just a novice. Plus I bought it used for under $5-including shipping....now that's a steal! Get more detail about Complete Home Bartender's Guide: 780 Recipes for the Perfect Drink.
